My Mission

At WLGA, my mission is to make golf fun, welcoming, and accessible for youth. I focus on building confidence, skills, and a love for the game in a supportive, beginner-friendly environment. Whether it’s your first swing or your first time on the course, I am here to help you grow.

About Me

My name is Wendy Li

Hi! I’m Wendy Li, a competitive golfer from Ontario and a proud commit to Boston University, where I’ll be playing Division 1 golf on scholarship.

My golf journey started almost as soon as I could walk. My parents owned a driving range and ran summer camps, so I grew up surrounded by the game. I was lucky to have constant encouragement, a fun environment, and people who helped me fall in love with golf from a young age.

As I got older, that early love turned into something more serious. I started competing at the provincial and national level, training year-round and representing Team Ontario in tournaments across Canada and America. Golf has opened up so many doors for me — it’s helped me learn confidence, resilience, and gain friendships that go beyond the course.

Now, I want to give back. I started this coaching business to help youth — especially beginners — get introduced to the game in a way that feels welcoming, fun, and pressure-free. Whether you’re just picking up a club for the first time or hoping to build some skills, I’m here to help you enjoy the game and grow at your own pace.

3rd Place – 2025 NextGen Ontario Championship Scores: 71, 74, 74
5th Place – 2025 Ontario Junior Girls Spring Classic Scores: 75, 73, 72
6th Place – 2025 Ontario Junior Girls’ Amateur Championship Scores: 74, 72, 77, 70
